메시대학교는 총 36,000여명의 학생들이 공부하고 있는, 

오클랜드 대학교에 이어 두번째로 규모가 큰 국립종학대학교이다. 

메시대학교의 메인켐퍼스는 Palmerston North에 위치하고있고, 

웰링톤과 오클랜드에도 켐퍼스를 보유하고있다. 메시대학교의 상경대학은 

뉴질랜드에서 가장큰 규모이고 3개의 켐퍼스에서 모두 상경대학과정을 설개 해 두고있다.뉴질랜드에서 유일하게 항공대학과 수의학을 운영하는 메시대학은 

뉴질랜드에서 활동하는 수 많은 파일럿과 수의사들의 대부분을 배출한다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 

특히 메시대학교의 수의학은 뉴질랜드 뿐만 아니라 미국, 호주, 캐나다와 영국을 비롯한 

세계 주요 국가에서 인정하는학사학위로 단연 인기가 많다.

입학자격

-한국 고등학교를 졸업하고 대학 입학 성적 80%이상 받은 사람
-뉴질랜드에서 고등학교를 다닌 경우 NCEA Level 3/ 42 Credit 이상 받아야 함
